Associazione "Museo dell'Arpa Victor Salvi"

The Associazione Museo dell’Arpa Victor Salvi is a Non-Profit Making Organisation set up in 2004 to run the Museo dell'Arpa Victor Salvi and to promote the harp, its history and music. Members of staff include Julia Salvi, President of the Associazione, the architect Didier Blin the museographist, Giorgio Trichilo who deals with museum publicity, Chiara Dalmasso and Roberta Scarzello in charge of museum education and Aldo Baudino who is the harp restorer.

Membership of the Associazione helps to support a cultural project that aims to:

• make the historical harp collection available to visit and study through the creation of temporary exhibitions.
• create an inventory and catalogue of the collection that can be used for the scientific and historical study of the development of the harp.
• archive historical documents on the harp and create a logical bibliography that is available for consultation.
• to set up a data bank of harp partitas, of musical transcriptions for the harp;
• to promote knowledge of the instrument
• to organise master classes for Italian and international harpists
• to encourage teaching and knowledge of the harp in schools.


Members have free entry to the Museum and can access Museum services free of charge.

Membership Fees

If your membership application is accepted you will pay an annual membership fee od €10,00 for harpist and €50,00 for ordinary members.
